LICHNOS BEACH, the district's premier hotel, is quietly situated 3 km from Parga with a coach ferrying its guests to and from the bustling harbour town at various times during the day and night. The hotel is set in its own extensive grounds of 25'000 square meters with an abundance of roses, lemon and orange trees providing a fragrant and colourful backdrop to a long crescent beach and the clean, green/blue sea. With a total of 100 rooms, all with private shower, WC,direct telephone line, air condition satellite TV, fridge and balcony with sea view, guests have a choice of the main hotel or the clean, whitewashed bungalows which follow the path down to the beach. Rooms for families are also available in all types of accommodation. About 150 meters over the hotel there are nice furnished studios with private shower, WC, kitchen, fridge, air condition, satellite TV and balcony with sea view. Guests also have a choice when it comes to eating. The hotel restaurant offers excellent home-made food and efficient service while the beach-side self-service taverna and beach bar provide tasty meals, snacks and drinks. Children have the opportunity to use the playground which is nearby. In addition, a well-equipped bar overlooks the hotel's open-air swimming pool. The sun, sea, beach and pool all offer opportunities for some gentle relaxation for all the family but for the more adventurous, we have a tennis court and various sea sports (Lichnos Beach Club Nautique) including water skiing with expert instructors and 2 professional ski boats, windsurfing, parasailing, jet ski, banana, tubes, canoe, pedaloe, wind surfina and sailing boat. Since 1999 the hotel offers a multi-purpose, conference room at the first floor of the main building. It is the ideal place for cocktails, confereces, forums or receptions. We can also arrange superb sight-seeing day trips by boat or coach as we have our own travel agency which is called LICHNOS TRAVEL and is situated within the hotel premises. The Kyriakis family built the Lichnos Beach Hotel nearly 30 years ago and continue to run it in a friendly, welcoming but professional manner guaranteed to provide an unforgettable holiday for the guests, a large number of whom return year after year.
