Not all all like the website stated. Ant infested room, (when asked for spray, were told we had to buy it) difficult showers, threadbare towels, lumpy thin pillows, grubby looking bed linen. Food looked nice but expensive and some of it was inedible. (Four Shrimps around a gelatinous tower of rice, $10.50. called Curried Prawns! The rice had to be sliced through with a knife) Chicken dishes which were sent back as they were very tough, but no apology made or replacement offered. (Twice) Staff on the whole quite nice.
Very noisy situation, after stating when we made our first enquiries we needed a quiet holiday. Dogs barking close by all night. When we asked if something could be done we were ignored. We checked out 6 days early and were then told that "this is Fiji" you always get barking dogs. Well, we have been 15 times to Fiji and have never been woken by dogs before! Also have now found that they have put an extra $195 on our Visa after we actually left. We paid the amount for nine nights after only having three there. So we think they are laughing all the way to the Bank. (now in the hands of Visa). By the way the beach is more like 500 metres instead of the stated 80 away and it's not suitable to swim in or sunbathe there. Rating would not even be 1/4 of a star. |
