me my wife and two year old son stayed at the hotel for one week 1-9th september 2003.The hotel is fantastically situated 5 minutes walk from the beach , several supermarkets literally two minutes walk away , the staff were very helpful and freindly , the pool large and immaculate , we found the large gardens and collection of tropical birds absolutley fantastic , Any minor gripes we had as a family holiday with ( toddler/pushchair ) , the two lifts were very small and you somtimes wait for ten minutes for it ! , as persons use it rather than the stairs , the food at the start of the week seemed particuarly suited to the german pallate , but by the end of the week had immproved considerably in choice and english taste !. Only other minor gripe would be that the satelite tv in the room was in german ! , but with all aspects considered it give the hotel 8.5 - 9 out of ten . The gardens , the tropical birds and general freindliness of staff sets the bahia de alcudia apart , we would certainly visit this hotel again no problem ,
