We had a nightmare.
This £218 a night country house boasts many awards. It is a pity caring for their clients appears to be for show and not a reality.
The hotel is nice enough from the outside, the decor downstairs is Ikea and upstairs nearly old fashioned. If you take a stroll after ten at night remember to take your room key with you, as the front door or back door will not be answered and you will after one hour of trying to get in spend the night in the car. I am waiting for a £218 refund for the one night, but the owner refused point blank. Forget it. Stop somewhere else. |
