What a shame that this great building is run by a company that doesn't really care for the hotel industry.
I had to clean the windows so that I could see out of them.
I was willing to forget about that but the night duty manager's attitude means that I'll never be going back there.
The manager attempted, several times and physically, to stop me entering with a spring roll in a bag. He claimed that they had a policy about bringing in your own food. He also claimed that the policy was displayed in the rooms and on the hotel's web site. He wasn't able to guide me to the information in the room and there's nothing on the web site.
The morning duty manager wouldn't come to the front desk to deal with my complaint.
It's not the policy that is annoying, it's the lying to a guest and attempting to forcibly remove a guest's posessions (albeit $2 worth of take-away) that I found disgusting.
Rather than this being an isolated incident with one rogue employee, I was met with unprovoked unpleasantness from his colleagues.
His coup-de-grace though was his claim that, |
