Rundu is the capital of the Kavango region and the name should appear on the Namibian map. nKWAZI is 20 km from RUNDU on rout to Bagani ( 200 km from Rundu ), which is now known as DIVUNDU. On the map DIVUNDU should replace Bagani. Bagani airfield is 10 km south off Divundu on the way to Muhembo border post at the Botswana border.Rundu is a city with 40000 inhabitants, while Divundu is only the crossing over the kavango river into the caprivi strip (game park) now known asBabwata national park. |
