Having stayed across the road last month i thought i would try the continental when i needed a hotel on christmas day. The rooms are a reasonable size with good shower rooms. I liked the fact that the tea and coffee making tray had decent sized mugs, most hotels give you small cups. The breakfast is served in the restaurant and was good. The restaurant is functional, more coffee shop than restaurant, but perfectly adequate. The staff were, without exception, very attentive and accommodating. Lots of smiling and asking if everything was ok. My only slightly negative comment is that they need to keep an eye on house keeping. It was very clean everywhere you could see but wouldn't pass the sort of white glove test that the swiss hotel schools train you to do! overall good value and i would happily stay there again.
