This is an old pub that has had an old us style motel built on the land behind it, and then a more recent (think 1960s) block added at the back of that. I stayed in the newer block and it was perfectly adequate for a single person for one night. There was plenty of hanging space, tea and coffee making facilities and a quite large bathroom. There didn't seem to be a lift, but as the motel section has drive in car spaces beside every room i am sure that they would allocate one of those if you told them you had any mobility issues. Breakfast was the usual buffet, quite good apart from the execrable coffee that came out of a machine; not the machine's fault, it was the quality of the stuff the management put in it. There was a longish wait for breakfast, but it was new year's day and so everyone was surfacing late and i am sure that on a normal working day that problem would not occur. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay again but this is my third hounslow hotel in a month and i know there are better hotels in the area - although maybe not as inexpensive as the master robert.
