The steigenberger resort hotel rügen is a manor house hotel located in a large resort complex, within 300 metres of riding stables and 13 kilometres from sassnitz. The hotel's 129 guestrooms have contemporary decor with light colour schemes, patterned fabrics, wood furnishings and balconies with parkland views. All offer satellite television, wireless internet access, direct dial phones and minibars.

Day trips can be arranged to the jasmund national park with its famous königstuhl, 10 metres from the hotel. 13 kilometres away is sassnitz harbour, where guests can admire the imposing chalk coastline. Rostock laage airport is 150 kilometres (93 miles) from the hotel.
