The hotel boasts a 1,000 square metre spa complex with facilities including an indoor pool, spa tub and hammam, and a range of spa treatments and beauty therapies are available. The hotel also features a fitness centre and an outdoor pool surrounded by palm flanked sun terraces. A separate splash pool is provided for children, and supervised activities are available at the kids' club. The hotel houses two bars, one overlooking the swimming pool facing the ocean and the other set between the pool and the beach. Other amenities include around the clock room service, a gift shop and complimentary secure parking.
the sofitel imperial hotel has four restaurants: an international buffet serving mauritian, indian and french dishes: the ming court chinese restaurant, which also has two japanese teppanyaki tables; a beachfront creole style restaurant serving meat and grilled seafood specialities; and a semi formal creole fusion restaurant where lobster is the house speciality.
the hotel offers many facilities for archery, badminton, beach volleyball, horse riding and table tennis, alongside two floodlit tennis courts and an indoor games room. The waterfront offers opportunities for windsurfing, water skiing, sailing, kayaking and snorkelling. For a surcharge the hotel can organise excursions, including deep sea fishing trips, and also offers a bicycle rental service.
