With typical mauritian architecture, the shandrani hotel is set on the peaceful south eastern coast of mauritius on a private peninsular, surrounded by three sandy beaches, a water sports centre and golf course. Mauritius airport is six kilometres away, approximately 10 minutes' drive to the hotel. Spread over three floors, the 327 air conditioned guestrooms are decorated to reflect the local environment in shades of red and beige with floral prints, wood furniture and art works depicting mauritian crafts. Sea facing balconies or terraces open onto the beach.
