The sangho village djerba is a large palm fringed resort complex situated on the beach, six kilometres from midoun. The 212 air conditioned guestrooms are housed in a number of buildings, which are scattered amongst plants in a six hectare garden. All guestrooms have simple decor in blue and yellow with wrought iron furniture, and include balconies or terraces with garden or sea views.
guests can relax on a sun bed on the poolside terrace, which is surrounded by palm trees, or browse the boutique or gift shop. In the restaurant dar midoun, international dishes are served, buffet style, at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant also has a terrace with sea views. La belle etoile serves a variety of dishes at lunch and dinner in a relaxed setting with beach views. In the evenings, guests can chat over a drink in the bar, café or nightclub, or relax and watch television in the reading room. Several sporting activities are on offer, and the hotel has a children's pool. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk will be happy to arrange transport or excursions or advise on local attractions. The djerba explore, a large complex with a heritage museum, crocodile farm, cafés and restaurants, is five kilometres away. Djerba zarzis airport is approximately 25 kilometres and a 30 minute drive from the hotel. |
