| The tourist complex, situated in the periphery of the pomaia commune, has been constructed on the ruins of the old factory for the working of the alabaster, is adjacent to an important extraction mine, which is currently a museum and place of excursion. The nearby communes of castellina marittima and santa luce, native medieval suburbs on the rocks of the red galestro (a type of clay/stone that were used to build the residences, encircled by green clay/stone), which were formed the long time ago by the marmolaio torrents, that borders the residence. The residence has been entirely constructed with due respect of the surroundings, with the usage of natural materials and with great attention to the comfort and the spaces that is dedicated to all of its guests. |
