You are watching skiers on the slopes of squaw valley usa! distance from our parking area to the parking lot at squaw is just 8/10th's of a mile. Summer time, your relaxing, romantic retreat is 10 minutes to lake tahoe and 39 miles to reno. This is a scenic mountain lodging; rather than separate guest houses. High speed internet connection available as well as complimentary laundry facilities. King or queen-size bed in every guestroom. One room has additional twin bed in it. 200-plus channel satellite tv system in every guestroom and the living room! beautiful spiral stircase takes you to each of the 3 levels. Dining is a pleasure: though the atmosphere is similar to staying in a charming b&b, poole's guesthouse does not provide any meals. Instead, guests are welcome to bring in groceries and share the well-equipped gourmet kitchen. Resident hosts herman and ann poole are an excellent resource for incredible places to ski and hike, entertainment and fine dining. |
