| The owner of this 'old house' called on skilled workmen to completely restore his 4-star deluxe hotel, and guests will now find many original features adorning the building such as the iron spiral staircase or the ceiling mouldings. Located in the historical centre of bruges close to the superbly atmospheric market square, all new rooms have air-conditioning, safe, hairdryer and fax/modem connection. The american breakfast buffet is served in an inviting room with a view onto the inner garden. Guests should not leave bruges without entering a specialist chocolate shop, or enjoying a horse-drawn carriage trip around the town centre - both of which will enhance a super stay at the oud huis de peellaert. |

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Everything was neat and clean, and everything was in perfect working order! the atmosphere was quiet and understated yet the staff were friendly and approachable. We honestly had the feeling there were only about 4 other people staying there as it was so quiet and unhassled - and yet at breakfast it transpired there were about 30. Breakfasts were great - fruit, cereal, ham, cheese etc. Highly recommended.
