| This hotel offers real peace and quiet; when you wake up all you will hear is the singing of the birds! it lies in an enormous garden with ancient trees, and has it's own private driveway of almost 200 m, lined by linden trees. Precious vehicles are safely parked in front of the hotel entrance and there are shelters for motorbikes and atb's. The owners will make you feel at home with their personal approach, the breakfast served at your table and hints about where or what to see and do in the beautiful surroundings. Before this beautiful villa, built in 1837, was turned into a hotel it was owned by a real baron and baronesse. The names and decorations of the rooms still remind of the times when duchesses and princesses were amongst the visitors of la heid des pairs. More recently, the hotel hosted formula 1 drivers as well as musicians and artists as charles aznavour, chris de burgh, jeanne moreau and leslie caron. Their portraits can be admired on the hotels own wall of fame. The hotel offers limited internet access at the reception. |
