Set in more than 400 hectares of pinewood forest, the modern ala birdi hotel comprises four hotels, and is located four kilometres from the village of arborea. The 283 guestrooms, spread between three buildings, feature cream coloured walls, traditional sardinian furniture and glass double doors leading onto balconies. Room amenities include air conditioning, cable television, direct dial phones, minibars, safes and bathrooms with showers and bidets. The half board room rate includes buffet breakfast and dinner accompanied by mineral water and house wine.

In the evening, evening guests can choose between four bars and enjoy a programme of live entertainment in the amphitheatre. The club card facility (30 eur surcharge; kids under 5 go free) enables guests to partake in daytime and evening entertainment, canoes and pedal boats, group swimming, surf and sailing lessons and the miniclub. The hotel is also next to a spa facilty and is home to a horse riding school. The modern conference room is able to accommodate meetings or social events of up to 400 people. Those arriving by car will find complimentary parking facilities on site. Guests can visit the village of arborea, four kilometres away, or the towns of cagliari and elmas, both of which are 85 kilometres away. Cagliari airport is 85 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 45 minutes. |
