These inns date as far back as the year 1727. Original and reproduction antiques accent each inn and provide a glimpse into the nation's past. The maryland inn's treaty of paris restaurant serves regional cuisine. Lively scenes along main street unfold outside the windows at drummer's lot pub. Function rooms accommodate up to 200 attendees. expert tip. a unique feature of the hotel, the calvert house's famous hypocaust greenhouse is visible through a glass window set into the lobby floor. A tunnel once connected the maryland inn with the state house. The tunnel's brick wall is still visible from the basement level starbucks.
