| Cochãªca is an old manor house, originally leased by salzedas convent in 1567. The italian architect nazoni influenced its current baroque appearance, and it maintains an elegant main entrance bearing a huge, impressive coat of arms. Within the manor house is a chapel dedicated to our lady of piety, dating back to the end of the 17th century or earlier. Our cosy sitting room for guests has a satellite tv, video and dvd player, mini-bar and games-table. Handicrafts: the old winery, on the ground floor of the main house, has been recently put to use to display and sell works by local artists and artisans. An additional display of original and quality items make this worth a visit. |
