Year built 1520 renovated 1989the chateau de noizay is a perfect example ofa chateau hotel unusual in its architectureand furnishings cosy in its size and equippedwith all the convenience of a four star hotel. This elegant xvith century residence in theheart of the loire valley castles was used asa refuge by the protestants during the amboiseconspiracy in 1560. By the end a nice wooden paththe castle appears in its renaissance magnificencewith a french garden overlooking the villageof noizay. An imposing oak staircase will take youto the second floor this one being surroundedby the aubusson tapestries an the bare ston walls. On one side of the entrance hall the restaurantpainted in light yellow and blue remindsmonet colors. On the other side is an attractivelibrary filled with precious books and a loungewith a fireplace that will warm you up againstthe chilled fall and winter evenings. The cheerfulatmosphere of the hotel makes it perfect forrelaxing holiday and romantic week ends. Renovateda few years ago the clock house building fromthe xviith century is situated a few meters awayfrom the chateau and has five rooms furnishedin the chateau style.
