Accommodation in portrush Hotels and Lodgings

Having stayed in the north antrim area with it's beautiful scenery we decided to entend our stay by one night in the enchanting town of portrush. By chance we called in at albany lodge and our luck was in - they had one room available. We have travelled all around the world and never have we been made more welcome than we were here. We not only had found the jewel in the crown of ireland, but the owners made us feel like the british royality. Our rooms had all the facilities and more of a 5 star international hotel, drinks cooler, trouser press, ironing facilities, telephone, broadband ports, hairdryer, digital safe, hospitality tray with snacks, a bottle of free wine and a box of chocolates. Every luxury that you could think of was provided in the cost of the room. We had the most stunning views over the coastline towards the giants causeway and the royal portrush golf club, this has to be certainly in our mind one of the best kept secrets in the area. The owners went out of their way to fullfil any requests that we had - dinner reservations in a local restaurant, stamps for post cards back home, tee reservations for our golfing, laundered our clothes and even copied our photographs onto cd from our cameras ( which i was really glad of as i had taken so many pictures inside and outside the accommodation). We enjoyed the atmosphere and their hospitality so much that we even stayed a further extra night with them. We only wish that the four poster bedroom had have been available - now that would have been the icing on the cake. .... Click here for more reviews
